Welcome to your first full week of January. I hope the new year got started well for you, though I know for several people it was a rough start. Thankfully, this is a week to reset and receive clarity.
​
We are just on the other side of the Full Moon. We’ll be here for another day or two, and then we move fully into the waning moon phase. By Tuesday, we’ll definitely be in the waning phase.
This is important because the waning moon is a powerful time for release.
​
It’s an opportunity to continue releasing 2025 even more. Don’t forget to use the compass exercise I shared with you.
This is the time to consciously let go of anything you do not want to bring into 2026. We have a New Moon on January 18th, so think of this week as clearing space and taking note of anything you may not have released yet last year. You still have time to let it go and set yourself up for a fresh reset at the New Moon in Capricorn.
💡 A Perspective Shift Practice
I want to take a moment to help you gain some perspective.

One thing I want you to remember is this: we always have an opportunity to get a new perspective. We can always see a situation — even a problem — in a new light.
I love Wayne Dyer’s quote:
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
So let’s work with that.
Take a moment and think about a problem you’re dealing with right now. Just notice how it feels in your body when you see it as a problem.

What are you feeling?

What are you thinking?
-
Are you hearing anything internally?
Just take note of what happens in your body when you think about that situation.
Now open your eyes and shake your body to reset.
Take a deep breath in… and release it.
Close your eyes again.
Now take that same problem, but see it as a challenge.

How differently does it look?
-
What possibilities show up?
-
What changes when you see it this way?
Notice how you feel. What are you thinking? What are you hearing or seeing?
Open your eyes.
Shake, shake, shake.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Long, slow breath out through your mouth.
Close your eyes again.
Now see that same problem as an opportunity.
Ask yourself:

How is this an opportunity?
-
What opens up when you see it this way?
Notice what’s different in your body, your thoughts, your inner images.
Open your eyes again.
Shake, shake, shake.
One more round.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Long, slow breath out through your mouth.
Now see that problem as a gift.
How differently do you see it now?
How does it feel?
What are you thinking, seeing, or hearing?
Take that in.
This is what that quote really means. The situation may not have changed on the outside — but the way you’re relating to it has. And that opens up peace, solutions, insight, and new possibilities.
All change begins on the inside. It doesn’t start on the outside.
This is how I want you to go into 2026 — seeing 2026 itself as a gift.
What gifts might be waiting for you?
If seeing everything as a gift feels like too big of a leap right now, start smaller:

Can you see it as a challenge?

Then an opportunity?
-
And maybe, eventually, a gift?
Even simply stepping yourself through that process can change everything.

🔮 Oracle Guidance for the Week
From my Mythical Goddess Tarot Deck, I pulled three cards.
🩷The first card is Forgiveness.
We just had a Full Moon and we’re in a waning phase, so this feels very aligned.
The question is: who needs to be forgiven?
Is it you?
Is it someone else?
Forgiveness is one of the ways we take something that hurt us and begin to see it differently — as a challenge, an opportunity, even a gift.
Forgiveness does not mean what happened was okay. It doesn’t minimize the harm. What it does is give you the opportunity to heal fully, so you’re not holding the wound energetically.
Forgiveness often opens the door to wisdom and deeper understanding.
If you’re like me, you may struggle with forgiveness because you forgive easily and worry you’ll forget — and let someone hurt you again. But this is where true protection and boundaries come in.
Ask yourself:

Do I need to reinforce my boundaries?

Do I need support or protection from someone in authority?
-
Do I need to put layers between me and this person?
That is a much healthier approach than holding onto unforgiveness.
🩷 The second card is Transmutation.
This is a powerful week for transmutation — and it pairs beautifully with forgiveness.
There may be leftover residue from last year that needs to be transformed. This card carries Crone energy — wisdom, change, and deep transformation. It’s the Phoenix rising.
This card says:
“She embodies the transmutation that transforms every aspect of your former self into a new frequency and reality. Let her initiate you into this great life change by releasing your attachments to all that served you yesterday, that you may be purified, electrified, and transmuted now. This metamorphosis brings enlightenment and restores creation.”
There is wisdom available to you here, if you’re willing to release what no longer serves.
🩷 The final card is Pleasure.
I love that this card came through because we need this.
Pleasure doesn’t have to be big or extravagant. It can be simple. It can be subtle.
This card reminds us that pleasure is emotional abundance. It’s available when we orient ourselves toward beauty and allow ourselves to feel good on the inside.
She invites you to open your heart and reconnect to the pleasure of life in each moment.
When we forgive and when we transmute what no longer serves us, our capacity for pleasure naturally expands.
So this week, ask yourself:

Where can I allow a little more pleasure?

Where can I soften?

Where can I feel good without guilt?
✨ Astrological Tone of the Week
There is strong energy around new beginnings this week, even though we just came through a Full Moon. Something may be highlighted for you that points toward a fresh start.

Later in the week — especially around January 8th through the 12th — there may be some intensity, pressure, or a feeling of being at odds with others. Conversations may feel challenging.
​
Pay attention to what feels like a mirror. Someone or something may be showing you an aspect of yourself you don’t love — but there is wisdom there if you’re willing to look.
​
This is also a week to avoid overindulgence and to stay grounded and balanced.
​
There is a lot of energy available this week — not necessarily for doing more, but for seeing more clearly.
