Hey Sis, I'm going to tell you something that helped me understand the power of astrology.

To start, you were born with a manual. I know people say babies don't come with instruction manuals but I say that's not true. You have a blueprint. A cosmic instruction set written into your birth chart that holds clues about why you are here, your purpose, and the timing of everything in your life. Just like the acorn has the blueprint to become a mighty oak tree, you have that same coding within you.

Most people never learn to read it. And that's exactly why readings matter.

As someone who teaches women's empowerment, I believe the ability to do your own readings is key to standing in your power and walking in your purpose. But the truth is that we all have blind spots. It's hard to really see your life and all that is happening when you are living it moment by moment.

A reading helps you see what you can't see on your own. An area of life where there's room for improvement. A place where you need to go in a new direction altogether. Or even a season of abundance that's closer than you think.

Community readings are great for getting an idea of what is happening in the collective. Astrologers will alert you to astrological events happening in the sky so you can plan accordingly. Mercury Retrograde is one of the most popular events. It's great to know when Mercury Retrograde happens if for no other reason than to give yourself permission to slow down. But a good astrologer will let you know specifically what that particular Mercury Retrograde is about because each one is different.

With personalized astrology reports, you get even more detail about the planetary interactions in your blueprint. I have done readings where there's not much happening in the collective astrology but the person's chart is lit up. The planets in the sky are interacting heavily in her chart. Sometimes it seems like this person is having a really hard time and no one around her can figure out why. But when you see a transit report, you're able to see the dates and meaning of each transit, which will explain why the hard time is happening and what the mission is for you during that season.

The most specific of all? A reading with a trained astrologer.

Where the transit report can't give you context for every single transit, a reading with an astrologer brings it all together. But then there are other times when I can literally see when more abundance is coming. Sometimes it's literally money and other times it's an abundant idea that you can take action on.
